In 2014 Masceo acquired a summer job at the amazing Enchanted Hills Camp (operated and maintained by Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, San Francisco) located in Napa CA. Being legally blind or low vision himself, this opportunity had life changing effects on Masceo and has contributed to his understanding of blindness, not only on an individual level but also the blind and low vision community as a whole. After that first summer experience at EHC, Masceo has continued to be a part of the EHC team in some fashion every season since. Starting in 2018 Masceo was promoted to the Music Camp director for both students and adults and he used this time to develop the programs and activities that are part of MEW Productions today. In 2022 Masceo legitimized his program by starting up MEW Productions LLC with the support of EHC and the community. Then in August of the same year he directed the first all ages EHC Music Camp with the MEW Productions official programing and had wonderful success. Masceo is scheduled to be the Music Camp Director at EHC for the 2024 summer season. Masceo has also had the privilege of providing virtual programming not only for EHC but also Camp Bowen located on Bowen Island BC Canada. With his combined experience of working in both music and blind/low vision communities (of all ages and skill sets) Masceo Williams and his MEW Productions program can confidently guarantee a memorable, enriching, joyful, musical adventure that will inspire more…
